After Brady was baptized

Well here we go... today is kinda a sad day... Brady has been here for the last two months and now it's time for him to return to his mom's... No matter how often we do this, it's always a sad moment.. I am so proud of Brady... This summer has been amazing... We have done alot with him... His sister's always enjoy being with him.

There are alot of things to be proud of Brady for, but most of all I am proud that he is growing in his relationship with God. Brady is only seven now but he is beginning to understand alot of the Bible and about being apart of the family of God...

Recently Brady choose to get baptized in water... I was a little hesitant about him doing this but after prayer, God showed me that I should not be a hindrance in his christian walk... I am so proud that Brady is listening to the voice of God and obeying his commands... I ask the Lord everyday to keep my children in his arms. I pray my children will always love the Lord and always follow Him ALL the days of their lives....

Settled/Picnic/Birthday Party

After a year of living in a new place and 3 houses I can say I finally feel settled. What a long year it has been. Our family has just moved to a new home in town that better suites our family. God has taught me alot over the past year, of how to make a place a "home". Through all the frustrations of leaving Bolivar and coming to a new but strange place God has been faithful.

Our town has an annual festival called the "El Dorado Springs Picnic". This is an all time highlight of our town. Everyone from grandma's to babies come out to celebrate our town and enjoy the wonderful food, our families favorite is the massive load of curly fries our family can get for only $5.50. The amount you receive feeds our whole family!!! Not just do we enjoy the food but also the activities, rides, and entertainment. Today Brady went to the sidewalk chalk drawing where he won 1st place... He did an awesome job and I myself am proud of him. Last year during this Picnic I was 39 weeks prego with Brilynn and didn't get to ride any rides with my children, well this year is different. On Saturday I am going to be able to take Brendlee on Saturday by herself and get to ride along with her... This should be alot of fun!!!!

This weekend is all about the Picnic followed by another busy weekend. On Saturday July 26 we will be celebrating Brilynn's 1 st birthday. Our theme this year is a Garden party. I am amazed by how my children have grown already. As I think ahead I am thrilled in my soul to think about my kids getting big and how God will be able to use them to touch lives!!!!

Who has what in the Wolf house?

Can I say sickness is about to get the death of me... All of my children have something... My youngest daughter has had diarrhea off and on for over a month now, more on than off, My other daughter had it for awhile but it went away pretty quick in her. While dealing with diarrhea I am also dealing with a second round of Staph infection in Brendlee's leg. She had staph around April and I thought it was gone than about 2 days ago she began to get a red spot in the exact same place and with the same symptoms as before. As we speak we are waiting on daddy to get home to take her to the doctor to get some meds. Than to top it all off Brady has some horrible rash on his legs, I don't really know what it is, but I having a feeling the boy has been in some poison ivy or something. Although i could really use a break in all these things God has poured out a wonderful peace upon our home. My children all have something going on but you would have no clue by the way they are acting... Lets say, "Normal"... hopping around, screaming "Mine Mine" than in the next moment telling each other "i love you"... Life as a mom can be so interesting at times... I am so thankful for being a mom... i love my children so much... They give me inspiration to draw closer to God... Being a Christian means having a better relationship with my children as well as with others!!!!

The Normal

Bob has been off the last two days which is a great time for our family. Daddy has to work b/c that's what men have to do right??? Therefore when daddy is off work and gets to be with us we usually soaked it all up, we love daddy being home with us. Yesterday we had a pretty normal day we relaxed around the house and took the kids on a mile walk. We recently found a small dog, that Brady named "Brownie" to accompany our big chocolate lab named "Duke". Both of these dogs joined us on our walk. We enjoy going on family walks to take in God's creation together. Our children also enjoy being outdoors. Yesterday Brady put all his skating gear on and took the skateboard along, although he didn't make it very far and decided to put the skateboard in the stroller and walk.

After our walk we came home and cooled off in the nice air conditioning and laid around and relaxed.

Today should be another relaxing day, Daddy will be home with us again!!! Currently Brady and daddy are at swimming lessons. Brady began swimming lessons yesterday which I am very excited about. Like any kid Brady thinks he can already swim, no matter what we tell him, he thinks he knows everything already. I feel swim lessons will help him realize there is more to swimming than just flopping your body around and splashing, he will learn actual strokes... He takes them for two weeks than our little two year old begins her swim lessons with the company of mommy at her side.
